Tales Of Terror

Welcome all who love tales of terror!

Writing a good book requires a grasp of the four types of prose. But writing a book of horror requires an acute understanding of our primal fears. Lurking inside us are things we fear and loathe. A good writer must draw forth these primal fears, leading them from the shadows of the mind and into the light of the conscious. My first two books, ALIEN SIEGE and KING OF THE DEAD, do just that. If you would like to see the covers of these works, please drop me a line at david.dickens@gmail.com. My website www.TheMasterOfHorror.com will be up and running next week. If you would like to discuss the genre of horror, or want to talk about prose in general, please feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

Have a great day!

And don't turn out the light!

You mentioned that there were four types of prose. What are they?

The four types of Prose are as follows: Description, Exposition, Narration and Argumentation (which is a fancy word for Point-Of-View). But these four can be divided into sub-sections, as Summation and Drama are both forms of Narration.
